PVD COLOURED FINISH
All coloured Code aspen sinks come in a durable PVD finish. Physical Vapour Deposition coating, also know as thin film coating, is a process in which a solid material is vapourised in a vacuum and deposited onto the surface of the sink. This coating is not simply layering though. Instead, compound materials are deposited atom by atom, forming a thin, bonded, metal surface layer that greatly improves the appearance, durability and functionality of the
aspen range of sinks.
Nano Protect
The Aspen range comes with a Nano protected coating. The nano coating is made up of nano-sized ceramic compounds. These compunds form a thin transparaent coating that is fused with the 304 Stainless steel surface. Nano Coating is particularly suitable to kitchen sinks as it is also antibacterial which helps to inhibit the growth of microorganisms and bacteria. Nano coating also helps the stainless steel with corrosion resistance.
Made From 304 Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is one of the most common materials found in kitchens today. It's used in
everything from appliances to cookware, dishware, flatware and utensils because it is durable, easy to sanitize and corrosion resistant to various acids found in meats, milk, fruits and vegetables.
Most importantly though, stainless steel is a safe option when it comes to use with food and beverage, as there are no chemicals that can migrate into your food from these products.

Frequently Asked Questions
Fine Scratching?
This is not a defect or flaw, but a natural part of the aging process. Overtime these sinks develop a unique patina where scratches just blend into the shimmering surface. Any perceived imperfections will become less apparent as you continue and enjoy your sink.
This aging process is the same for all stainless-steel sinks regardless of the brand or Model.
What is the Overflow flow rate?
Our Aspen sinks are rated at 10.1L per minute.
If your taps flowrate is higher than 10.1L, your installer will need to fit a flow restrictor.
